Welcome
Founded in 2012
The Collective is a national network of Muslim entrepreneurs and leaders who have generated over $1.3 billion in business activity; served as the financial tip of the spear of economic efforts in the DC, Atlanta, and Memphis regions; lead the charge on developing large-scale sustainable businesses in our communities; and contributed more than $20 million to strengthen Muslim institutions within our communities.
Its members are among the most productive, visionary Muslims in America, committed to shaping a future rooted in faith, unity, and excellence.
The Convening
This December, The Collective will host its 1st Annual National Convening — an invitation-only gathering of African American Muslim families, leaders, and change makers from across the country. Over four days at Callaway Gardens Resort, we will come together to reflect, recharge, and reconnect, strengthening the spiritual and strategic bonds that unite us.
This experience is designed to be both restorative and catalytic, blending family time with serious conversations about leadership, strategy, and collective growth.
Event Vision & Goals
Building Legacy
This convening marks the beginning of designing a 100-Year Plan for the Muslim community in America — rooted in Qur'an, Sunnah, and prophetic strategy.
Here, faith meets structure. Families rebuild trust. Leaders renew purpose. Together we begin building systems, schools, businesses, and relationships that will sustain our people for the next hundred years.
"The Prophet ﷺ built Madinah not for a moment, but for a millennium. We, too, must plant seeds that our grandchildren's grandchildren will harvest."

Our Goals
- →Advance prophetic leadership across faith, family, business, and governance
- →Grow collective weaFlth through cooperative economics
- →Empower youth and young professionals for the next 100 years
- →Strengthen families through shared spiritual and strategic practice

Conveners
The National Convening of The Collective is hosted by the leaders of two landmark developments that embody the prophetic model of institution building and economic strength:
- The Clara (Washington, DC) — an 81-unit mixed-use housing and retail community developed in partnership with Masjid Muhammad, symbolizing faith-driven development in the nation’s capital.
- Salaam Square (Atlanta, Georgia) — a visionary mixed-use project that includes a masjid, school, retail, offices, and housing — setting the standard for integrated Muslim community life in America.
Together, these conveners represent the next generation of Muslim leaders, advancing the prophetic legacy through architecture, enterprise, service and unity.
